Introduction

1.1 Introduction Of Industrial Training

Basically, the objectives of Industrial Training Program is is to expose student to real working environment and experience at the same time, to gain knowledge through hands on observation and job execution. From Industrial training program, student is also will develop skills in work ethics, communication, management and others.

 Moreover, this practical training programs allows student to relate theoretical knowledge with its application in the manufacturing industry. We can conclude that the objective of industrial training program is to provide student the opportunity to test their interest in a particular career before permanent commitments are made.

Next is, to develop skills and application of theory to practical work situations. To develop skills and techniques directly applicable to the career future ahead. Lastly, to build a good communication skill with group of workers and team to learn proper behavior of corporate life in industrial sector.

1.2 Training Scope

While I am doing my internship, I’ve been assigned to Admin-IT trainee so my role is Admin-IT trainee and the job scope given as below:

1. Coordinates IT Helpdesk, critical system and business applications or services issues with System Administrator and IT Support Team.
2. Troubleshoot hardware, software, E-mail servers and a lot.   
3. Prepare information for department analysis and reporting.
4. Provide documentation to users and technical team in form of knowledge base to improve user experience.

1.3 Objective of Industrial Training

Among the objective of the Industrial Training are:

1. Provide job exposure to student. 
2. can provide valuable work experience.
3. Train students to deal with problems or conflicts when they do any work for them to face them in the future in the workplace.
4. Allow student to associate the theories learned during the lecture with practicality.
5. add self confidence, truest and more responsibility.

    1.4 Importance of Industrial Training to Students.

      Conducting industrial training is a compulsory requirement for ever polytechnic student.

Its mus be complete by a student pursuing a Diploma course. For the Diploma course of Information Technology, is required to undergo industrial training course in the 6th semester.

       While undergoing industrial training for 6 months,student are not only exposed to the nature of work but also can practical all the theories and practical learned at Polytechnic.Then, the training of the industrial is also important so that students are not afraid to face any mistakes when doing work. This is because if the students has made a mistake, it will learn from the mistakes  and will not repeat it again in the future. 

        

       While in Polytechnic, students are publicly and practically exposed but by undergoing this training the students are also to expose students to the real world of real-world employment.
